There’s a decent chance scattered thunderstorms, gusty winds of 12 miles per hour, and some rain showers could appear Friday afternoon at TPC Southwind for the second round of the WGC-FedEx St. Jude Invitational according to the Weather Channel.
The forecast says there will be a 60% chance of precipitation on Friday with thunderstorms starting around 2 p.m and lasting through most of the evening.
Friday’s tee times were moved up in hopes of avoiding some of the storms, beginning at 7 a.m.
Saturday’s forecast says there will be showers all morning followed by a cloudy afternoon. It will also a little cooler than Friday, with a high of 80 degrees.
The best forecast of the weekend is for championship Sunday, which is mostly sunny with a high of 86 and winds under 5 miles per hour.
